Monitors for babies

Monitors for babies were just intercoms that were hung by the baby's bed. As time went on these monitors became a lot more sophisticated and therefore the variety also increased.

Monitors for babies are used by almost every household where a baby is born to help watch over the baby. Some monitors sense movement, sound and also have visuals on the newborn or even older baby.

These are some of the features you should look at when buying a monitor for your baby:

1.Make sure the monitor has at least two receivers so that you can place it in different rooms. This means that whether you are in the kitchen or even in the bathroom you will always be aware of your baby's activities.

2.Also make sure that the monitor will be able to work with AC power if the batteries go dead. These type of monitors also have an alarm to warn you when this happens.

4.The receiver should be lightweight to make things easier for yourself and at the same time have a range of at least 250 feet.

5. A requirement for the monitor is to have more than one channel as well as volume control for obvious reasons.

6. Don't buy a monitor if you have tried it out in the shop and the sound quality is poor and it is not clear from a distance.

7. To make things easier, the monitor has to have mountings so you can attach it properly to the wall or even the baby's cot.
